A journey to the end of the night along Boulevard Jean Jacques Dessalines, the beating heart of the Haitian capital Port Au Prince, called by all La Grand Rue.
La Grand Rue is the commercial center and economic lung of Haiti, everything is there. Street children, trades of all kinds, Haitian-Dominican prostitution, monster traffic jams, markets here and there, the nostalgic landscape reminding of the tragic earthquake of January 2010, gang members fighting eachothers’ and religious activities. La Grand Rue is a metaphor of life itself, of death and of miracles.
